According to Max Reports, Haitian artist Watson G was arrested on the morning of April 28, 2026, at Lynden Pindling International Airport in the Bahamas while in transit to Haiti after a performance in France. He was not in the Bahamas for a show.
Authorities reportedly discovered more than $10,000 in US dollars on him. Transporting such an amount is not illegal, but it must be declared. He was reportedly detained for failing to comply with this regulation.
